The other side of the river and we have a
very pleasant walk. Loads of Anenomes, Wood Sorrel Bluebells and Yellow Archangel. Buzzards and Kites fly overhead. Heron fishes in the river. Dippers fly up and down it. Swallows nesting in the outhouse. Goldcrests in the fir tree and blue tits taking up residence in the stone wall of the outhouse. The odd Blackcap has also been spotted along with Bull Finches. Loads of wild life to see. |

We helped nature a bit and built the weir up
to raise the water level slightly upstream. Might spot some salmon or sea trout going upstream in the autumn. |
